The View at Seacoast (TVAS, "we," "us," or "our") is an oceanfront rooftop event venue located at 951 Seacoast Drive, Imperial Beach, California 91932. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have regarding your information when you visit our websites (theviewatseacoast.com and seacoastevents.com), contact us, submit an inquiry, or book our venue. Please read this policy carefully. By using our websites or services, you agree to the practices described herein.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

Contact and Identity Information: First and last name, email address, phone number, mailing address.

Event Details: Preferred event date(s), event type (wedding, corporate, private, community), estimated guest count, catering and vendor preferences, and any special requests or notes.

Booking and Contract Data: Signed rental agreements, deposit and payment records, insurance certificates, and vendor authorization forms.

Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details submitted through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. TVAS does not store raw card numbers, CVV codes, or full bank account details on its own servers.

Communications: Emails, SMS/text messages, phone call records, and contact form submissions between you and TVAS.

Account and CRM Data: Profile data created within our customer relationship management platform (GoHighLevel) when you opt in to receive communications.

Feedback and Reviews: Survey responses, post event feedback, testimonials, and publicly posted reviews you associate with TVAS.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: Pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, referring URL, and browser/device type.

Device and Technical Data: IP address, operating system, browser version, screen resolution, and language preferences.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies: First party and third party cookies, pixels, web beacons, and local storage objects used to operate, analyze, and improve our websites (see Section 5).

Location Data: General geographic location derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates without your express permission.

C. Information From Third Parties

Referrals from wedding planners, event coordinators, photographers, and other vendors who recommend TVAS to prospective clients. Public business directories, review platforms (e.g., Yelp, The Knot, Google), and social media platforms where you have made information publicly available. Advertising and analytics partners who provide aggregate or pseudonymous audience data.

3. SMS / Text Message Communications

We operate an SMS messaging program to communicate with clients and opted in contacts regarding bookings, venue logistics, and promotional offers.

IMPORTANT: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support of services (such as platform delivery via GoHighLevel) is permitted solely to transmit messages on our behalf. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Program Description: TVAS sends SMS messages for (a) booking confirmations and reminders; (b) event logistics updates (parking, weather, venue access); (c) lead follow up and inquiry responses; and (d) promotional messages about venue availability, seasonal offers, and new event packages.

Opt In: You must affirmatively opt in to receive SMS marketing messages by checking a clearly labeled, unchecked, optional checkbox on our inquiry or booking form. Transactional messages (confirmations, logistics) may be sent as part of your service agreement.

Opt Out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS messages. You will receive a one time confirmation, after which no further messages will be sent.

Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking status and program participation.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.

Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Re-subscribe: To resume receiving SMS messages after opting out, reply START or re submit your opt in via our website.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only in the limited circumstances described below:

A. Service Providers and Processors

We engage trusted vendors who process personal information on our behalf, bound by data processing agreements that prohibit unauthorized use. Current processors include Stripe, Inc. (payment processing), GoHighLevel/HighLevel, Inc. (CRM, email, and SMS messaging platform), Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, and G Suite), Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram and Facebook advertising pixels, aggregate/pseudonymous data only), and hosting and infrastructure providers.

B. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, your personal information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to the same protections described in this policy.

C. Legal Compliance and Safety

We may disclose personal information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of TVAS, our clients, or the public.

D. With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties not described above with your explicit prior consent.

Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, legal compliance).

Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. No opt out is required, but you may contact us to confirm.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive PI: You may request that we limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to perform our services.

Right of Non Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9. Security

We implement industry standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Measures include TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit, limited staff access on a need to know basis, periodic security reviews, and PCI DSS compliant payment processing through Stripe. No data transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information using commercially reasonable means.

10. Children's Privacy

Our websites and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 as defined under the CPRA for purposes of sale/sharing restrictions). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it.
